HALLOWEEN COSTUME OR POLITICAL STATEMENT?

NEW SPECIES THAT ACTUALLY LIKE US!

This finding is interesting on a number of levels - the fact that an area of our planet has essentially been untampered with and therefore "undiscovered" - and the fact that they discovered so many species of wildlife that were either believed to be extinct or have never been seen before.

But what I find the most fascinating is the fact that these animals are not scared of people - yet. Researches have picked them up, pet them, examined them and let them go. When was the last time a squirrel let you pet it?

THE BEST OF THE 'BOWL

OK - so I suppose you know that I'm thrilled that the Steelers trounced - er - I mean - beat the Seahawks yesterday. I was glued to the game and - of course like most of America anymore - glued to the commercials. My personal favorite was the third quarter Budweiser "Barn" commercial about the baby clydesdale who practices pulling the beer wagon (with a little help). The Budweiser "Streaker" commercial in the first quarter was hysterical as was the Fedex commercial called "Cavemen". But, if you were one of those people that used that time to visit the restroom - you can see what you missed.
